Shipments and returns

1.1 Shipping costs

The shipping costs indicated on our online sales site have been established according to the current rates of La Poste (French post office).

1.2 Delivery times

We are committed to preparing any order placed on our online sales site within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) and up to 3 days at the latest, subject to product availability. If one or more products are no longer available without this being indicated on the product sheet, the customer is notified by email or by telephone and V DE VINSTER will issue a refund to the card that was used to pay for the order. We use the services of La Poste through Coliship or Colissimo. Orders shipped to France are generally delivered within 3 working days after you have received the confirmation email. V DE VINSTER is not held responsible for further delays. Delivery times in countries outside of France depend on your local postal services. V DE VINSTER is not held responsible for any inappropriate behaviour of local postal services.

1.3 Shipping

Any order placed on the V DE VINSTER online sales site can only be sent to the destinations mentioned. We are committed to delivering the product(s) ordered to the delivery address that has been entered at the time of checkout. Please make sure that the address is correct. Any reshipping costs due to an incorrect address being entered will be charged to the customer. We will do our best to deliver the product(s) ordered as soon as possible but we are not responsible for any delays caused by Colissimo.

2- Returns policy

The customer has a legal deadline of fourteen (14) days from the date the order has been received to notify V DE VINSTER of their intention to return the product as well as the reason for return.

The product(s) must be returned in their original packaging. They must be intact, in perfect condition for resale and accompanied by all accessories they came with, if applicable. The order number must also be indicated. The product(s) must be returned in a manner that does not allow for them to be identified (postal packaging, bubble wrap envelopes, kraft paper ...). Any product which is damaged, incomplete, or whose original packaging has deteriorated, will be neither refunded or exchanged and will be returned to the customer. For goods purchased from abroad, the costs will be charged to the customer.

We would like all of our customers to be satisfied with their purchase, which is why all returns are free of charge in metropolitan France and in countries of the European community.

3- Reimbursement

If a customer exercises their right of withdrawal, V DE VINSTER is required to reimburse the amount paid, without penalties, with the exception of postage fees. Reimbursement is due at the latest within fourteen (14) days upon receipt of the returned products. If the return of the product(s) purchased is due to an error on the part of V DE VINSTER, the shipping and return costs will then be entirely refunded to the customer.

4- Cancellation

Beyond the withdrawal period, if you wish to cancel your order, you must contact admin@vdevinster.fr. If your order has already been shipped, we will ask you to return the product(s) by following the instructions provided by email.

5- Changing or modifying your order

If you wish to make changes to your order, modify the delivery address or add products to your order, please contact us by email at admin@vdevinster.fr.

6- Delay of shipping

Colissimo is a very reliable service, however it is possible, as with any shipment, that there is a delay in the delivery or that the parcel gets lost. If you have not received the parcel by the delivery date indicated in the confirmation email, please notify us by email. We will then contact La Poste to start an inquiry. An inquiry can last up to 21 days. If, during this 21-day period, the product is found, it will be immediately re-routed to your home (in most cases). If, on the other hand, the product is not found at the end of the 21-day inquiry, La Poste considers it to be lost. It is only at this point that we can send you a replacement product, at our expense. If the products ordered are no longer available at that time, we will reimburse you the full amount of the products which were lost by the carrier. If the products are still available, but that their price has changed, we will apply the new selling price, either by reimbursing you, or by requesting an additional payment. We decline any responsibility for delayed delivery times due to the carrier, especially if the products are lost or if there is a strike. The return or refund of the products will only be effective after the end of the postal services investigation.

7- Force Majeure Events

The following instances are Force Majeure Events:
- A fire, flood or any other accident causing the complete or partial destruction of the company, its stocks or supplies, or the termination of its operations. - A strike or a lock-out, without it being necessary to seek out whether it was the management or the employees who initiated the movement.
- The lack of power or raw materials resulting from a general cause, such as interruption of transport, power cuts, breakdown of motors or any other causes suspending operations at the factory, which are beyond V. De. Vinster’s control.
The events referred to in the preceding paragraph shall also be regarded as Force Majeure Events when they occur in any other establishment on which the contract depends; in both cases, proof is required to demonstrate that the relevant activities have actually been stopped by the above events.
